So i'm getting laid off, after ten years of total loyalty to one company. I'm not sure what to do and I'm having serious problems job hunting. These days you need a degree to get anywhere and i can't afford college (in the US). It's sad when you live in a place where you can't even get proper financial aid because they practically rape you so that the schooling isn't even worth it. That, and i have a mortgage to pay too.

...i haven't been making much original art pieces, but i have been working on something rather interesting. If you are feeling curious, keep an eye on my Livejournal, ( click here ). I'll be posting some things in the coming weeks.


I MIGHT be going to Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando Florida. It depends on my money issues.

Well it was a ok convention, the artist alley was in the basement/garage, near the dealers room and no good signage, so not to many people knew where we were. I sold about 9 pieces and made some new connections and new friends. I didn't stay sunday because i grew too tired of all the screaming teenagers. I guess I'm getting old! lol

I'll be at AkiCon in Everett, WA this weekend. It's been awhile since I've gone to one, and i have never taken part in a anime oriented artist alley either (i go to sci-fi conventions), so it should be interesting.
Come by my table and say hello. I'll be the chick dressed all in black, with tattoos and piercings... *cough cough*...and probably one of the oldest ones' there.....*hack cough*

I'm still excited from finding out that Garrus from Mass Effect, is going to be in Mass Effect 2, that made my day. I'm also playing Dragon Age for the ps3. It's fun.
